Proof of young earth creation? Christian foundations will you fund my expedition to Pakistan?
The Neolithic community at Mehrgarh dates back to 7000 BCE If we are right and the calculations made by Creation theorists from the Bible are true then the people here must have lived with dinosaurs and woolly mammoths. Since they were an agricultural people they would have used domesticated animals. All I have to do is excavate the evidence that they rode dinosaurs or mammoths and used them a...

Why cant you have fun as a Christian?
Christianity is strict on young people and adults. Like I know a certain friend that I have that can't do anything really ill call them Sean. They go to Christian school, go to church choir rehearsal, and go to church. And that's all no parties, going on dates, going to movies or malls with friends. If they want to go somewhere with a friend they have to bring them to church. Why must Christian...

Ever since then, I have found myself very attracted to Latin, Indian, Polynesian, and Filipino women--all dark complected girls! I have prayed to ...

Please read details, Is it a sin for a Christian to marry a Non-Christian?
I'm a Christian, dating an Agnostic. We've both thought about marriage before but we're both young so it's not a serious matter yet. From what I've read, no one will actually answer the question flat out. They answer a question with a question and ask "Why would you want to?" Well, because I love him. I can't help who I love. While I know it says there are likely to be problems in an unequal m...

Seems we have come upon a subject (women’s roles in the church) that is hands off ?

To Tommy of the Corinthians matter:
You forget sir, that certain parts of the New Testament, have been ruled out of date by this court. Besides the Christians get mean when you p##s them off, then you are causing them to stumble, and for that you get a mill stone around your neck and get cast into the great Yahoo sea.

LOL Sorry guys we are pretty funny sometimes.

This is a question for Christians! Is it a sin for a Christian single woman to use birth control?

Posted By: Adam on December 7, 2011 in Uncategorized - Comments: 5 Comments »

My little sister is in college and I found some birth control pills in her room. When i confronted her about this she told me to not tell our mom and she said its helps her out with her acne.

maybe it does, maybe it does not

but still, is it ok for a Christian single woman to take birth control?

We;re not catholics but we’re christians who are faithful to Christ and have been for all of our lives growing up

Must love Jesus? Question for religous folks?

Is there a good online dating site where I can find a respectable christian man. I need someone who loves the lord and who won’t just try to get with me for some premarital relations because I can’t tolerate that.

Question on historical revisionism and revionists?

Posted By: Adam on October 26, 2011 in Uncategorized - Comments: 2 Comments »

Here’s my outline of a few examples of revionists and their beliefs. What do you make of them?

Hardouin?

It is interesting that, when looking at the Christian faith, most of the manuscripts we have are of the Greek New Testament and, before the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, all the Old Testament manuscripts we have date exactly to the dates assigned to them by Jean Hardouin: the middle Ages (emphasis on have been dated, since the Dead Sea scrolls smack as another of the Church’s far-fetched hoaxes).

Of course, we are told that the originals have “unfortunately” vanished, but has it ever occurred to you that those dating to the Middle Ages are the originals?

Edwin Johnson?

In The Pauline Epistles and The Rise of English Culture Johnson made the radical claim that the whole of the so-called Dark Ages between 700 and 1400 A. D. had never occurred, but had been invented by Christian writers who created imaginary characters and events. The Church Fathers, the Gospels, St Paul, the early Christian texts as well as Christianity in general are identified as mere literary creations and attributed to monks who drew up the entire Christian mythos n the early 16th century.
Wilhelm Kammeier?

Wilhelm Kammeier was born somewhere between 1890-1900 and died in 1959.
He lived in East Germany, was a lawyer and also served as a notary, and as such, had interest and access in ancient documents. In 1936, he wrote a book called The Universal Falsification of History.

In it, he writes about the fact that Emperor Conrad is recorded in various documents as being present at sometimes two or three distant cities; places where you couldn’t possibly be in one place in the morning, next the evening and next the night, and on the same date of an annual Christian feast for 50 years in a row was he present.

Two particular excerpts from Kammeier’s The Universal Falsification of History (1937):

Humanists took part in the massive falsification of history alongside the catholic clergy, striving to create some proof of the historical significance attributed to their church.
This process falls in the 15th century for the most part. The documents related to the pagan German history have been destroyed and replaced by Gaelic and Roman forgeries.

Historical events that preceded the 13th century are beyond reconstruction since all of the early documents have been destroyed and replaced by counterfeits. The pre-papal wars between national churches were publicly presented as struggles against heretics and apostates. Ancient literature is as much of a forgery as the medieval documents. One such fake literary work is Germany by Tacitus). The Catholic clergy can be credited with the invention of the New Testament, or at least a radical rearrangement of it. The church keeps manufacturing counterfeited ancient manuscripts in order to prove the authenticity of the evangelical text, and their great age with aid of these new findings.

So I guess in conclusion (at least in these people’s minds), Christianity was a Mystery religion and the gospels are allegorical stories with an inner meaning, but the Orthodox Church wanted to historicise them and create a false outer meaning so, being the heretics, they in fact declared the Gnostics as the heretics and forced them underground, into exile, or killed them.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are thought to have been written by the Essenes, but there is no proof of this. There is a Catholic monastery not far from Qumran. Who really wrote and deposited them in the caves is unknown. They do not mention Jesus or his apostles, and there were no New Testament writings found there. It just sounds like anothe

Another teen relationship question. Different from others…. Help?

Posted By: Adam on in Uncategorized - Comments: 3 Comments »

So I was going out with a girl and shortly into it we were forced to break up. Because im athiest and she is christian. Her father is a preacher and her, and her family, are very religious. In the bible it say’s athiest/christian relationships are against god.

We broke up but have stayed as friends. Thing is, we still love each other. I know because I was told by her best friend that she had cried the night before a party we were all going to because she missed me and felt guilty over the breakup.

Now I understand we cant get back together for religious reasons, but what drives me nuts is :

why did she get into the relationship in the first place if she knew this would be a problem?

She never told me this would be an issue yet she was WELL aware of it. She had told two of her best friends before we even began dating that this could be an issue but it caught me by surprise…

religon question (would appreciate some christian answers) on homosexuality?

Posted By: Adam on in Uncategorized - Comments: 10 Comments »

ok, so heres the deal. i’m christian, but last summer i dated my best friend (were both girls) and she broke up with me because her dad wouldn’t allow it saying it “wasnt right in gods eyes.” now up until now i had thought pretty much the same thing, thats gay people went to hell because it was wrong. But a few weeks ago i picked up a book called The God Box, a story of a 17 year old christian guy who strugles with homosexuality and what the bible has to say about it. His feelings change however when a guy named manuel moves into town saying he is gay AND christian. In the book it also talked about him looking at the bible verses that supposedly condemmed homosexuals. the verses arent very clear as to what they mean either. In the end the guy comes to realize that he is gay after trying to hide his feelings and questioning his faith for several years because of his belief in Jesus. So now i’m confused about if homosexuality is right or wrong, and i know i should ask god, but he hasnt gotten back to me yet. so what i’m trying to ask is: Is being gay/lesbien ok if your a believer in christ, and you try to follow his word as best as you can? To answer any questions about my age, i am 14 and please dont tell me the feeling i have for my friend will go away and its only a phase cuz it hasnt in the last 4 months…..so yeah, any help on clearing this issue up a bit would be helpful. Thanks!!

A question for creationists?

Posted By: Adam on September 4, 2011 in Uncategorized - Comments: 1 Comment »

Do you trust websites such as answers in genesis, CMI and creation.com?

If so, why?

They use sensationalist language which is often used to invoke emotional responses on matters, an old method of propaganda and attempting to distort peoples perspective of a story. They dismiss the findings of large areas of science using assumptions that are actually provably not valid (see radiometric dating and speed of light and the claim that either could change drastically).

They treat anyone who isn’t a christian as possessing “evil *insert opposing political/religion/philosophical stance* agendas”, which is simply more sensationalism and they refuse to tell the full story on anything they disagree with, instead restricting themselves to the tidbits that support their given argument.

I would argue that they single handedly are the source of much of the misinformation we are seeing floating around these days, the original Liars for Jesus.

They are clearly extremely biased towards the christian young earth creation belief, so much so that they call it a fact despite the entire belief requiring the dismissal of half of our understanding of reality and science.

Does it not bother you that themeparks have been set up in the form of the creation museum and the up coming ark. Themeparks which contain not many historical artifacts left bare for the viewer to look at as they are in most museums, but instead have a very large collection of models such as plastic dinosaurs with saddles on, and the ark is going be even more in the realms of what people fantasized about it.

Most of us look at these sites and can see precisely where the lies and the twists are, why can’t you?

A question for Jewish people……..answer honestly please?

Posted By: Adam on August 22, 2011 in Uncategorized - Comments: 2 Comments »

Hi, I have a question for Jewish people. Specifically, for Russian Jews/Orthodox. I have a female friend who is German-Irish-Christian-American who is dating a Russian Jewish guy from Tajikistan (spelling correct?). Now this is in New York, and both live in Queens. They love each other to death but there is only one problem: his family, specifically his parents. They don’t want him to date or much less marry anyone but a Jewish girl from Tajikistan. You heard me. They not only want him to date a Jewish girl, but also one from their own country. His parents have told him that they are disgusted with him and want nothing to do with the girl, who is very kind and sweet. What’s more they’re actually bringing home Tajik Jewish girls for him to meet (which he of course rejects), but they still don’t get the point that he is in love. Also, his girlfriend is offering to convert to Judaism and give up Christianity, which I also think is asking way too much. I think that this is a sad situation and that we need to bring down the barriers of religion. I didn’t know Russian Jews were so strict. What is your opinion on this case? Should the Jewish guy give in to his parents, should the girl try to convert, even though she’ll lose her christianity? I personally think the parents need to get over it. They’re not in Russia anymore, they’re in a new country that is way more liberal.
By the way this couple is in their 30’s, she early, him late….
