This controversy revolves around my age and my so-called “immaturity”. First of all, i do not look, nor do i act like a teen of my age. I am very logical, witty, intelligent, mature and unlike most of you, very reasonable. My boyfriend and i met through friends. Feelings cannot be controlled. If you fall for someone, go for it. if you truly like them, you wouldn’t care what anyone thought. This is how my boyfriend and i knew we were right. We still love eachother through all the rude comments we recieve. It has actually made us stronger and closer as we fight these battles together. I have to deal with the constant “JAIL BAIT!!” “SLUT” “WHORE!!” and he has to deal with the constant “Pedophile” “That;s not a relationship that’s babysitting”. I don’t understand why people wouldn’t understand a situation such as this.
We both understand what we’re risking, and we both understand that we WILL have to deal with these kinds of people. But we didn’t expect it to be this brutal from people who have probably done worse. He is a very dedicated Christian and i converted to chrisitanity. We both do not intend on having sex until marriage. Not every man is the same. Not every man wants a girl for her genitals. Have any of you ever thought that maybe we are happy together? And perhaps we’re not like every other Minor to Adult relationship out there? We are very open to any opinions, but we don’t appreciate close minded people who don’t take any of our arguments into consideration. Honestly, i can’t stand people today. The amount of hurtful words my boyfriend and i have to battle daily is ridiculous. But we continue dating, because we love eachother. And no matter what anyone says, you cannot and will not stop us from having a relationship together.

So, my main points here are:
1.It’s not illegal unless we have sex. which we are not planning on doing.
2.Men have feelings and respect too. At least a few of them do.
3.Men DO have morals.
4.Feelings are not controllable.
5.If you truly love someone, nothing anyone says will affect the way you think about your significant other.
