I just got out of a four year relationship a few months ago, and my last boyfriend and I started dating the beginning of our senior year in college. I feel like a total fish out of water when it comes to dating… I guess I never really did date before I started going out with my last b/f.

Anyway, I’ve been talking to this guy I met online almost a month ago… he’s cute, smart, sweet, my dream guy basically. But we’ve finally decided to meet and I’ve never been more nervous in my life. We both have seen pictures of each other and have talked a lot, but when we meet in person I’m afraid I’ll be a disappointment or something. I don’t mean to sound so pathetic! I think I’m a pretty cute girl, intelligent, even funny when I get comfortable with someone… I just think I’ll forget everything and totally spaz out or something.

We’ve already covered all the basics about each other, so what are we supposed to talk about? Ideas on where to go, what to wear……? Really need your help~ 10 pts best answer. Thanks!!

What are some of the best christian dating sites?
(please don’t say eHarmony because I don’t know of anyone who has had any luck with that site)

The guy is looking for someplace that he may be able to find someone local. He’s had bad luck with women saying they’ll move, then changing their mind after a few months.

I always find it hard to meet single women at church. Most people socialize with you briefly then they either sit down to hear the service or leave as soon as the service is done. My church offers very little chance for singles to socialize. Therefore, church is not a good place to meet single women. I have tried other churches, they are either the same or worst when it comes to meeting Christian women. I also work a lot of hours leaving me almost no free time. I have tried to find decent women on line but all of the women that I have met were a bad match (some lived too far away, some turned out to be liars and manipulators, or the attraction was not mutual). Besides, you have to go through thousands of profiles and dating just to find that you are not compatible. Where are some good places that a high percentage of Christians frequent, that would increase my chance of finding the right woman? By Christian I don’t mean a woman that says she is a Christian yet does not even attempt to understand the Bible and apply what it says to her life. I am NOT looking for someone who drinks beer like water or sleeps with everyone and everything she feels like. I am looking for someone whose life is grounded in Christianity. Does anyone know of a good place where single Christians can meet besides the Internet?

Hello! I am pondering the possibility of trying out Christian Cafe or a local Christian dating service. I have tried a couple free Christian dating sites with “so-so” results due to people not being online/lack of consistency or incompatibilility. I have reviewed some sites with both good and bad reviews in each of them.
